I am a senior mental health nurse and PhD student with the Centre for Implementation Science at King’s College London. My PhD focuses on advancing our understanding of the concept sustainability and developing clarity about how it manifests across of spectrum of complex healthcare interventions.

Main topics of interest:

Implementation Theory
Sustainment
Systems Change/Systems Analysis
Evaluation of Implementation

In recognising that developing effective health care interventions is only the first step in improving health outcomes, I am interested in understanding how these interventions can be effectively sustained in practice. This is challenging and complex process. Therefore, my research focuses on identifying factors within a health care organisation which support successful sustainability of an intervention and the relationships between these factors. I am hoping to develop a framework that will support organisations to close the gap between research and practice.
