I have recently been appointed as a Trustee of the UKIS and am working hard to promote the use of implementation science and practice in all areas of social care when trying to introduce new models or approaches. I am particularly interested in how it can be better recognised and used more routinely when delivering on central government grant funded projects within localities to enable more robust shared learning and continuous evaluation on a national level.
